Peanut’s daddy talks and sings through the belly
You often hear that the baby is affected by external things already from week 15 and that it reacts directly to sounds from week 25. The belly can actually be a quite noisy place for the baby – it can hear the mother’s heartbeat, breathing, bubbles in the stomach, etc.

After we found out that you can actually make the baby used to Daddy’s voice from the belly, and that it will be more comfortable with daddy when he speaks to the baby this way, we have tried it out that my boyfrind speaks and sings to Peanut. The voices the baby has heard in the belly are also the ones he/she prefers to be comforted by when he comes out. So for sure it is important to get the daddys out there to talk to the belly so they can comfort aswell once the baby is out. The sounds echo in the amniotic fluid in the belly.

My boyfriend has been singing his own songs to peanut (he is a musician and I have carefully chosen my favourite songs he should sing for Peanut). If we are lucky our baby will already know some of the words to the songs when he comes out so we can create a little homie band…
