Huskeliste, hvad skal jeg have med på hospitalet…?

Jeg har så tit pakket min lille rullekuffert til fotoshoots ture. Jeg forsøger altid at holde det til håndbagage, så jeg kan komme hurtigt igennem arrivals, og min kuffert ikke ender i Oslo i stedet for London.

Nu kommer dagen snart, hvor jeg skal pakke en taske til hospitalet… Dohhhh, det har jeg sgu ikke lige tænkt over før! Ikke at det synes som en speciel vild ting i forhold til de mange andre ting, man går igennem og de tanker, man har, når man er gravid. Men, shit jeg skal pakke små sparkedragter ned, og næste gang jeg igen kommer hjem med den lille taske, kommer jeg også hjem med en lille baby…

Her er, hvad jeg er kommet frem til, som  er oplagt at skulle have med, når det er sne og super koldt udenfor:

Til mig
Vandrejournal
Min dåbsattest (skal bruges til fødselsanmeldelse)
Toiletsager: Deo, shampoo, balsam, cremer, og læbepomade, tandbørste og tandpasta
Hårtørrer
Hjemmefutter/ UGG støvler
Trusser og amme BH (jeg har ikke en amme BH endnu… Jeg elsker ikke BH’er)
Behageligt tøj til hospitalet og hjemturen
Mobiltelefon og oplader
Ammepude

Til daddy
Daddys dåbsattest (skal bruges til fødselsanmeldelse og faderskabsregistrering)
Mobiltelefon og oplader
Ekstra tøj (da jeg skal have kejsersnit, skal vi begge have lidt ekstra tøj med, da man skal blive i 3-4 dage)
Toiletsager: Deo, cremer, shampoo
Fuldt opladet kamera
Fuldt opladet videokamera
Ipod og høretelefoner (det kan vel være lange dage, så kan det være rart med lidt musik)
Snacks (maden stopper med at blive serveret tidligt, og kiosken har sikkert ikke det sjoveste udvalg)

Til barnet
Sparkedragter til hospitalet (hospitalet har dog babytøj, hvis man foretrækker)
Tøj til hjemturen
Hue og tæppe til hjemturen
Lift/ barnestol til hjemturen fra hospitalet
Bleer (hospitalet har også bleer mv.)

Til venner og familie
Champagne og snacks til venner og familie, der kommer og fejrer den store dag!!

Hvis nogle af jer mummys derude kan se, at jeg har glemt noget åbenlyst, så kom gerne med råd? Jeg ku’ efterhånden tisse i bukserne af skræk og glæde. Jeg skal nok huske at få daddy med, han skal nok vise sig at blive handy undervejs…

Check list of what to bring to the hospital…?

So often before I have packed my little rolling suitcase for photo shoot trips. I always try to keep it to fit hand luggage, so I quickly can get through arrivals, and my suitcase doesn’t end up in Oslo instead of London.

Now the day will soon arrive when I have to pack a bag for the Hospital … Dohhhh, I have not thought much about this before! it may not sound like a big deal in relation to the many other things that you have to go through being pregnant and the many thoughts you have being pregnant. But, shit, this time I have to pack little body stockings in my bag, and next time I return to our home with the little bag, I will bring along a baby…

I’ve thought about what to bring to the hospital and surfed the net for inspiration. I have decided to bring the following obvious things that should be handy when it is snowy and super cold outside:

For me
The baby journal
My certificate of birth (used for birth notification)
Toiletries: Deo, shampoo, conditioner, creams, lip balm, tooth brush and tooth paste
Hairdryer
Slippers / UGG boots
Nursing bra and panties (I do not have a nursing bra yet – ups … I do not really love bras)
Comfortable clothes to the hospital and for the return journey
Mobile and charger
Nursing pillow

For Daddy
Daddy’s certificate of birth (used for birth notification rand paternity registry)
Mobile and charger
Extra clothes (since I am having a caesarean, we both have to bring extra clothes since we will stay in the hospital for about 3-4 days)
Toiletries
Fully charged camera
Fully charged camcorder
Ipod and ear phones (I guess it can be long days too so it can be nice with some music)
Snacks (the food will stop being served early and the kiosk probably does not have the biggest selection)

For the baby
Body stockings for the hospital (the hospital can provide this too if you prefer) Baby hat and blanket for the trip home
Clothes for the trip home
Lift / car seat for the trip home
Diapers (the hospital can also provide this).

For friends and family
Champagne and snacks for friends and family

If some of you cool mummy’s out there can see that I have missed something obvious, then please advice me. I’m about to pee my pants of excitement and fear! Last but not least, I will remember to bring along daddy too, he’ll probably prove to be quite handy…
